On March 26, 2015, Kenny revisited Garfield Elementary in Pasadena ISD. After receiving a call from Principal Courtney Merilatt and learning that some of the Gators could use our assistance, FTFF was honored to step up to help these students. Principal Merilatt and her staff keep a watchful eye on their students, ensuring simply the best learning environment. Nutrition is key. Thank you for all you do. Go get ’em Gators!
On March 12, 2015, Kenny made a visit to Mark Twain Elementary in HISD. Home of the Tigers! We met with Principal Melissa Patin and made a donation to help feed her hungry Tigers. Thanks to the staff and principal for all you do to take care of your students and take hunger out of the equation! Thank you Jim Adler & Associates for helping feed Houston area students. On February 19, 2015, Kenny (FTFF) along with Bill Adler of Jim Adler & Associates, made a visit to Parker Elementary in HISD. It was a pleasure to visit with Principal Lori Frodine. A donation was made to the school to ensure hot, healthy, nutritious meals are fed to her Lions. No alternative lunches at Parker! Now that’s something to ROAR about!
FTFF would like to thank the School Nutrition Directors Association for having Founder, Kenny Thompson, speak at its meeting on February 12, 2015, which was hosted by Ft. Bend ISD. On February 8, 2015, FTFF made donations to 5 elementary schools through Spring Branch ISD Lunch Buddies Fund on the Education Foundation’s website. We are happy to continue to support this program that helps our students and eliminated the alternative lunch. Thank you to all who helped make this possible!
On February 5, 2015, Kenny visited Cy-Hope to make a donation to the Lunch Super Hero Fund for Cy-Fair ISD students. It’s always a pleasure visiting with the good folks in Cy-Fair. On January 23, 2015, Founder/President of Feed the Future Forward, Kenny Thompson, made a visit to Hines-Caldwell Elementary School in HISD.
