From ‘Lunch Angel’ to ‘Lunch Super Hero’

Feed the Future Forward is extremely proud to be a part of the innovative changes at Cy-Fair school district. Kenny Thompson was at the Cy-Fair ISD Food Production Center on April 17th to help start the ‘Lunch Super Hero Account’ with the goal of dissolving the alternative lunch program. Hopefully you enjoyed your spring break. With spring break over, FTFF was anxious to get back to work. On Monday, March 24, FTFF made a visit to the Spring Branch ISD offices to support the new Lunch Buddy program with it’s own link available on the Spring Branch Education Foundation website. ‘Lunch angel’ strikes again at Matzke Elementary March 3, 2014—“Lunch angel” Kenny Thompson of Feed the Future Forward made his second donation in a week to a CFISD school when he contributed $673.94 to pay off all 128 past-due lunch balances at Matzke Elementary School. Last week Kenny Thompson went into the school in Spring Branch ISD in Houston where he mentors several children, and paid off the negative lunch balances.
